A resident of the 800 block of Dorian Road told officers his unsecured motor vehicle was burglarized between 7 p.m. on May 18 and 5/19 at 7:30 a.m. About $5 dollars in coins were stolen, police said.

A resident of the 800 block of Dorian Road told officers his unsecured motor vehicle was burglarized between 11 p.m. May 18 and 8 a.m. May 19, police said. The person reports that his vehicle was rummaged through but nothing was taken police said.

May 20 at 8 p.m.

A resident of the 300 block of Scotch Plains Avenue told police that his unlocked motor vehicle was burglarized between 11 p.m. May 18 and 7:30 a.m. May 19, police said. The thief made off with a $500 pair of prescription sunglasses, police said.

May 24 at 10:31 p.m.

Officers arrested Alexander Hay, 24, of Westfield, for drunken driving near the intersection of East Broad Street and Elm Street, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released to a responsible adult, police said.

May 20 at 7:15 p.m.

Officers arrested Danielle Sadowski, 35, of Jersey City, on an outstanding criminal warrant in the amount of $3,000, police said. He was processed and found to have additional warrants totaling $7,500, police said. He was transported to the Union County Jail in lieu of bail, according to police.

May 28 at 12:20 a.m.

Officers arrested Kendell Graham, 28, on an outstanding warrant out of the Westfield Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000, police said. He was picked up at the Roselle Police Department, police said.

May 28 at 7:48 p.m.

Officers arrested Christie Jones, 43, of South Amboy, of possession of marijuana under 50 grams pursuant to a motor vehicle stop, police said. He was transported to the police headquarters, processed and released with a summons.

May 30 at 5:49 p.m.

A resident of the 300 block of Tuttle Parkway reported that his vehicle was burglarized between May 16 and May 17, police said. Stolen was an iPhone valued at $400 and a wallet containing $60.

May 31 at 2:57 a.m.

Christopher Colon, 19, of Elizabeth, was arrested on an outstanding Westfield Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $1,000, pursuant to a prisoner pickup at the Linden Police Department, police said. He was transported to the Westfield Police Department, where he was processed and held in lieu of bail, police said.

June 2 at 12:06 p.m.

James Cypher, 64, of Hawthorne, was arrested at the Hawthorne Police Department on the strength of an outstanding warrant from the Westfield Municipal Court. He was transported to police headquarters without incident and was processed. Cypher was then transported to the Union County jail in lieu of bail, police said. The warrant was in the amount of $2,000, police said.

June 3 at 5:37 p.m.

A resident in the 800 block of Winyah Avenue reports that unknown persons burglarized their unlocked motor vehicles between 6 p.m. June 2 and 7 a.m. June 3, police said. The victim told officers the thief stole a pair of sunglasses valued at $350 and loose change, police said.

June 3 at 7:45 p.m.

A resident of the 600 block of Canterbury Road told police that two of his unlocked motor vehicle were rummaged through between 9 p.m. June 1 and at 5:50 a.m. June 3, police said. The unknown thief took an EZ-Pass transponder, police said.

June 6 at 11:17 a.m.

Officers arrested Karisma Redd, 20, of Roselle, for possession of marijuana under 50 grams pursuant to a motor vehicle stop on South Avenue by Windsor Avenue, police said. Redd was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on a summons, police said.

June 6 at 5:51 p.m.

Officers arrested Jadira Thomas, 27, of Plainfield, on the strength of a Plainfield Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $500, police said. Thomas was transported to police headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

June 7 at 8:49 p.m.

Benny L. Rouland Jr., 50, of Newark, was arrested for an outstanding Westfield Municipal Court warrant pursuant to a prisoner pickup at the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark, police said. He was transported to Westfield Police Headquarters, processed and released, pending transport to the Union County Jail, police said.
