At its Annual Meeting on Monday night, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey welcomed four new members to the Board of Trustees. New members will bring a wealth of expertise from their respective fields of investment banking, law, education and art.
David Hardin of Summit is an attorney in private practice in Summit for almost thirty years and a partner in the Summit office of the law firm of Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, PC.
David is joined by three other new board members including The 2013 Union County Teacher of the Year, Deborah Schwarzmann, Stefan Shaffer of SPP Capital Partners, LLC and Jesse Torrey of Maplewood a freelance photographer and author of the blog, Smiles and Duct Tape.
“We are thrilled with our new slate of board members who will bring great energy and experience to our mission of transforming and enriching lives through the shared experience of art in our community,” said Visual Arts Center of New Jersey’s Chair of the Board Marie Cohen.
Members rotating off the board this year include Summit’s Lori Donohue and Wolfgang Guenther, and Greg Smith of Short Hills.
