Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper P.C., announced that Stephen A. Timoni has joined the firm in its Westfield office. Stephen will focus his practice in the areas of Corporate and Health Care Law.
“Stephen brings additional depth and experience to our firm. He has tremendous experience in complex corporate, M&A and health care areas of practice. We anticipate that Stephen will be a valuable addition to our firm and are very happy to have him on board,” said David R. Pierce, President of the firm.
Stephen, a 1982 graduate of Seton Haw University School of Law, advises clients regarding entity formation and restructuring: financing, technology licensing, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance and regulatory issues. In health care and life sciences fields, Stephen represents clients concerning Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and privacy; including HIPAA; fraud and abuse and legal and ethical issues associated with religiously-based health care services.
He serves on the Board of Trustees as vice-president and Counsel of Our House, Inc.; a non-profit organization that provides residential, employment and innovative services to individuals with developmental disabilities. He serves as a member of the Board of Governors of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway and as a member of RWJ Barnabas Health’s Innovation Council and Board of Trustees Quality Committee.
