The Westfield Area Y is hosting the 14th Annual Golf Classic and Dinner with Live and Silent Auction on Monday, May 14, at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield. All proceeds will benefit the Y’s financial assistance program and help send a kid to camp or child care at the Y this year.
If you have a vacation home or time share, access to a fine dining establishment, sporting event, or airline or concert tickets, please consider donating them as an auction item. You will have the satisfaction of knowing that the proceeds of your gift helped a child in need go to camp this summer, or to child care this fall.
A wide variety of sponsorship levels are also available. Sponsorships are tax-deductible. All sponsors will be prominently listed in promotional materials, event signage, the ad journal and the Y’s Annual Report. Sponsors of $2,500 or more will be included on a large banner displayed all year in the Y gymnasium, will have the opportunity to display their corporate banner at the event, and are welcome to attend the cocktail hour/dinner at no additional fee.
Play golf? Enjoy Echo Lake’s newly renovated course! Play format is a shamble. Prizes will be awarded for both team performance and individual games of skill by both men and women. Lunch begins at 11:00 am, shotgun start is at 12:30 pm.
Don't play golf? Come for part two of our day: Enjoy a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by a buffet reception and a live auction facilitated by WCBS TV weathercaster John Elliott. Great auction items include Broadway Show tickets, sporting event tickets, foursomes at select golf courses and many more!
