Bring back the fun this summer! The Westfield Area YMCA provides a safe, engaging, and meaningful camp experience with enriching activities, fitness, fun, social and emotional learning, and much more. The camp curriculum promotes teamwork, enhances self-esteem and builds skills while incorporating the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Camp registration is now open with the January Early Bird special.
Health and safety are the #1 priority, and the Y will ensure the safety of children by complying with CDC and Health Department guidelines, including COVID 19 guidelines, which may be in place at the time of camp. Therefore, all camp programs and program activities are subject to change.
Westfield Area YMCA camps are ACA-accredited and include traditional, sports, S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), and leadership options. Camps are available for youth ages 3-15 with locations in Garwood, and Westfield. Campers can enjoy full-day and half-day camps by the week or all summer long June 28-August 27. Indoor-based and outdoor-based programs are available. In lieu of open houses this year, interested parents/guardians can schedule a one-on-one camp consultation with one of our camp experts online by visiting www.westfieldynj.org/programs/camp or by phone at 908-301-YMCA (9622) x405. A complete camp guide can be found online and at Westfield Area YMCA locations.
Financial assistance is available for YMCA programs and memberships. For camp, financial assistance is available for Traditional, Extended Day and Leadership camps with requests due by April 30. Applications received later are considered on an as-available basis. The application is available online and at all Westfield Area Y locations. For information on all Westfield Area YMCA programs and services, visit www.westfieldynj.org or call the Welcome Center at 908-301-YMCA (9622).
