Clark Target Reopens Monday After Early Morning Evacuation Due to Carbon Monoxide

CLARK, NJ — Elevated carbon monoxide levels at the Target on Central Avenue prompted the store's evacuation early Monday morning, authorities said.

The department store has since reopened.

Alarms began ringing just before 6:30 a.m. due to elevated carbon monoxide readings in the store, a fire chief said.
