Dixieland Jazz at Westfield Memorial Library

Linda Ipanema will present “The Sounds of Mardi Gras.” Known as “The Queen of Dixieland”, Ms. Ipanema & the Dixie Cats will present their warm blend of New Orleans classics, swing, and Tin Pan Alley tunes.

She will sing, dance, and wisecrack her way into the audience’s heart, belting out such tunes as “Ain't She Sweet,” “Way Down Yonder in New Orleans,” and “When the Saints Go Marching In.”

Considered one of the foremost singers of Dixieland jazz, Ms. Ipanema has been in show business most of her life. In addition to stage and Broadway musicals, she has appeared in leading films, such as A Bronx Tale, The Pope of Greenwich Village, Once Upon a Time in America, and in hit TV shows, such as Law & Order.
