Mostly Music, Inc, offers a five-concert chamber music series with musicians from around the world at a convenient New Jersey location at Temple Emanu-El in Westfield. The first concert will feature the Shanghai Quartet playing Mendelssohn, Bridge and Brahms on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 at the door or $135 for the five-concert series. Early Morning Crash in Union Could Have Lingering Effect on Route 22 East

UNION, NJ – Union police and firefighters responded to an overturned car on Route 22 early Sunday morning.

According to Union Fire Chief Mike Scanio, a car rolled over in the vicinity of 2650 Route 22 east, near the Applebee’s entrance at about 3:00 a.m. The driver was out of the car when emergency personnel arrived and sustained minor injuries.

Given the recent spate of burglaries in town, Westfield residents are on justifiably on edge. A number of neighborhood homeowners came to the town council meeting to express their legitimate concerns about community safety. No Westfield resident should live in fear of a home invasion.
