Senior Citizens: Walk with Mayor and Police Chief

Mayor Shelley Brindle and Westfield Police Chief Christopher Battiloro will walk with our Westfield senior citizens on July 16 at 10 a.m. at Tamaques Park. The walk will begin at the tennis courts, where free safety vests will be distributed to all seniors and caretakers. 

There will also be a presentation by the Westfield Police Department on walking safety. They will also be encouraged to use their safety vests when walking and riding bicycles.

All those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP by calling 908-301-1287 or emailing westfieldnjseniors@gmail.com. Attendees are strongly encouraged to practice social distancing protocols and wear a face covering.

This fun and informative event is sponsored by Lifelong Westfield, one of Mayor Brindle's advisory councils which aims to help all senior citizen residents of Westfield “age in place” by providing a centralized clearinghouse for activities and services for this population and their caregivers.
