Westfield Area YMCA Camp Open House

Meet camp staff and get your questions answered about the various summer day camp programs offered at the Westfield Area YMCA! Children ages 3-15 can try new activities, learn new skills, get creative, have a blast and make new friends in a safe environment.

The Y is excited to offer new and returning S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) camps as well as traditional, sports, travel and leadership camps. Children can join for one or more weeks or all summer long. Full-day, half-day and extended day programs are available.  Camp programs are located in Garwood, Mountainside and Westfield. All Westfield Area YMCA camp programs are accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA).

Given the recent spate of burglaries in town, Westfield residents are on justifiably on edge. A number of neighborhood homeowners came to the town council meeting to express their legitimate concerns about community safety. No Westfield resident should live in fear of a home invasion.

Authorities Look To ID Cat Picked Up In Westfield

WESTFIELD, NJ -- An animal control company is seeking the owner of a male cat picked up on Grandview Avenue Saturday evening.

Animal Control Solutions LLC said the cat was "trying to get into several people's houses," and that he seems to be lost and sick.
