Come downtown this Tuesday, Aug. 6, for the sixth night of the 23rd Annual Sweet Sounds Downtown Music Festival in Westfield, NJ. Performances will be held in four locations throughout the downtown from 7-9pm. This weekly summer event is brought to you by The Downtown Westfield Corporation (DWC), and will continue every Tuesday night in August. Rain dates will be held on Wednesdays. Due to the popularity of the pedestrian only Quimby St. we have moved the North Ave. venue to Quimby St. at the corner of Elm St. Performers at this week’s festival include: Don Braden/Karl Latham Big Fun(k), Central Ave. in front of Turning Point; Triphammer, Elm Street on the lawn of the First Baptist Church; RGM Project, Quimby St. at the corner of Elm St; and K’ND Funk on the corner of South Ave. W. and Westfield Ave.
While enjoying the musical performances of “Sweet Sounds Downtown,” enjoy dining at one of Westfield’s fine restaurants or shop and stroll through downtown. We hope to see you downtown!
