WESTFIELD, NJ – Tonight’s Sweet Sounds Downtown Music Festival has been moved to Wednesday night due to rain in the forecast, the organizer announced.

Performances will be held in four locations throughout the downtown from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Downtown Westfield Corporation said.

Due to the Pizza Run also being on Wednesday evening, Dave Fields, scheduled for Quimby Street, will play on North Avenue West in front of the train station.

Performers at this week’s festival include the following:

  • Dave Fields Blues Rock Jam Band on North Avenue West at the train station near the corner of Elm Street
  • Thos Shipley Jazz Vocalist (Venue Change due to the Pizza Run) will play at the South Avenue side of the train station
  • Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son, an energetic rock group, will play at 170 Elm St.
  • Little Secret, the country, bluegrass and rock/folk group, will play at Foundation Park, South Avenue West. near Westfield Ave.

The weekly summer happening will continue every Tuesday night in July and August. Rain dates will be held on Wednesdays.
