WESTFIELD, NJ — Nine Westfield High School juniors earned perfect scores on sections of the February ACT, bringing to 13 the number of Westfield students scoring a perfect 36 on portions of the February ACT, the school district announced. 

Students who earned a perfect score on the ACTs include the following:

  • Mark Falletta (Science & STEM)
  • Stephen Park (Science)
  • Alexander Joseph (Math, Science & STEM)
  • Abigail Sternberg (Reading)
  • Celeste Scott (Reading)
  • Greta McLaughlin (Reading)
  • Sandrine Perez (Science)
  • Jonathan Sherman (Science & Reading)
  • Brad Hornbeck (Math)

First introduced in 1959, the ACT is a standardized test used for college admissions. It measures what students learn in high school to determine academic readiness for higher education.
