Please join us for an interactive panel discussion and parent workshop on supporting your child. Parents will have the opportunity to ask experts a variety of questions. Topics could include, but are not limited to, clarification on IEP and 504 plans, importance of present level of performance and goals in the IEP, therapeutic or psychological assessments and supports, OT and sensory related issues, services, legal rights and how to best advocate for your child. About our speakers:

Dr. Angela Gonnella, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical and certified school psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and emotion dysregulation. She has expertise in behavioral therapies (i.e. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure) and experience in testing, assessment, determination of eligibility and placement, and developing IEPs.

Beth C. Manes, Esq., is an attorney uniquely qualified in the special needs field. Her practice concentrates in Special Education Law, Special Needs Planning, Guardianships and Estate Planning/special needs trusts. Beth strives to create collaboration between families and schools for an effective outcome.

Jodi Prupis, M.Ed., OT, is the owner/director of Sensational Therapies and an adjunct professor with over 20 years of experience as an occupational therapist. She holds many certifications, including in Sensory Integration, Praxis Test, and Sensory Processing Disorder, and is trained in various other techniques. She is also a certified provider for The Listening Program and Interactive Metronome.
