WESTFIELD, NJ – Services are set for an 18-year-old Westfield High School graduate who died Sunday. Olivia Anna Booth had graduated in June and been accepted to the University of Colorado at Boulder, her obituary said.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Booth had attended the Bryn Mawr School in Baltimore, and the Renbrook School in West Hartford, Connecticut, before coming to Westfield, the obituary said. She also had a passion for equestrianism.

“Olivia will be remembered for her profound love of animals, especially her canine sister, Roxy Lola, and the many horses she worked with in competition and care,” the family said in the obituary. “Additionally, Olivia was always proud of and surrounded by a diverse groups of friends, who kept her smiling and laughing.”

Booth’s mother is a resident of Fanwood, and her father lives in Westfield.

A memorial gathering will be held for Booth from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., with a memorial service at 4 p.m., the funeral home’s website says.

The family asked that visitors wear colors in the Westfield High School spirit – white and blue – or equestrian attire, team jerseys or prom dresses to honor her memory, the obituary stated.

“Olivia’s true passion was everything equestrian including competition and horse care,” said her obituary.

In lieu of flowers, mourners are asked to make a donation in Booth's memory to either of the following groups:
