Twenty-one years ago, my wife Megan and I moved from the West Village to Westfield. As soon as we pulled into the driveway, we knew this place would be our home. Four kids and a dog later, we couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
From cheering our kids on at the Westfield Art Show or from the football and lacrosse fields, to our kids cheering for me on stage in the Washington School Show — we recognize the importance of giving back to a community that has given us so much.
With degrees from Syracuse University and Brooklyn Law School, I served as a prosecutor in the Manhattan DA’s office, where I presented 175+ cases to the grand jury and conducted 25 criminal trials, including the first hate crime trial conviction in New York State. I worked as a voice-over actor for the NFL, Fox Television Network, and Dick’s Sporting Goods — and am currently a securities litigator for a global law firm.
In Westfield, we can see the difference proactive leadership has made over these past two years. Mayor Shelley Brindle led the effort to achieve a 0% municipal tax increase for the first time while maintaining our AAA bond rating, prioritized the fight for peak one seat rides, paved more roads than ever before, and appointed strong, new Police Department leadership.
I’m running to be your Ward 2 Councilman to build on this progress. I look forward to supporting a Master Plan that revitalizes our Downtown and improves our parks and fields and am committed to addressing quality of life issues focused on safety, transportation, and infrastructure to ensure Westfield thrives for the long-term.
As I continue canvassing through Fall, I look forward to meeting you and earning your vote on November 5th.
