WESTFIELD, NJ — Local businesses are hoping the public will think big about doing their shopping in the downtown.
The Downtown Westfield Corporation, the government entity managing the town’s special improvement district, announced a series of specials throughout the downtown for Shop Small Saturday — the day after Black Friday.
Shopkeepers are enticing customers with products and services ranging from free hot chocolate to yoga classes, and even the opportunity for a free facial. Here’s the rundown:
Adlers Jewelers, 217 North Ave. West: Shoppers can enjoy free hot chocolate all day long. The store is open 10 a.m. — 5 p.m.
AR Workshop, 226 North Avenue West: Cocoa, cookies and a DIY crafts workshop session with walk-in ornament making will be on offer for $6/ornament. Customers can enjoy 25% off all retail and retail orders.
Bar Method, 105 Elm St.: New customers can sign up for $50 for one month of unlimited classes. The regular price is $89.
Best Foot Forward, 82 Elm St.: At 1 p.m., a gift creation session will be offered for customers to make gifts for family, friends and teachers. Kids will also be offered a story time and a shoe tying class.

Brunner Opticians, 100 East Broad St.: 10 a.m. — noon, parents are invited to bring the kids to decorate eyeglasses.
Business Energy, 220 Lenox Ave, Suite 101: 2 p.m. — 4 p.m. Members of the public can enjoy donuts and coffee while making holiday cards.
Chill Cryotherapy, 327 South Ave. Westfield: From 8 a.m. — 4 p.m. customers can get a free cryo facial.
Ella Allure Interior Design Center, 220 East Broad St.: From 10 a.m. — 1 p.m. customers get 25% off all wallpaper.
Evalyn Dunn Gallery, 549 South Ave. West: Customers enjoy 20% off all products in the store. The shop is open 10 a.m. — 5 p.m.
Farinolio, 121 East Broad St.: At 3 p.m. the restaurant offers a taste of Tuscany, which will include Tuscan cheeses, breads and extra virgin olive oil.
