WESTFIELD, NJ — Here’s something you can warm up to.

The Westfield Police Department and the Westfield PBA Local 90/90A are collecting new and gently used winter coats until Monday, Dec. 9. Coats will be donated to Jersey Cares — a New Jersey nonprofit which then distributes the coats to its various nonprofit partners.

“Last year, Jersey Cares collected more than 30,000 coats throughout the state of New Jersey,” Jersey Cares says on its website. “Companies, churches, police stations, schools and other organizations collect coats throughout the drive and deliver them to a central location.”
