Kanika Vij-Bakshi & Simran, owners of Spice Bazaar in Westfield, NJ, have appreciated the support from the greater Westfield community ever since they introduced a new experience of Indian cuisine back in 2017. The pandemic has hit the restaurant industry hard, but fortunately many of their frequent fans (near and far!) remain in need of modern Indian food with a twist, and have continued to order for both pickup and delivery or visited the restaurant for socially distant outdoor lunch and dinner dining.
Working with local marketing and advertising agency The ZAP Group, Kanika and Simran are updating their social media presence on both Instagram and Facebook in order to showcase their delicious menu, inform patrons of hours and dishes, and provide glimpses behind the scenes showcasing why they are a premier, non-traditional Indian restaurant where the ambiance and friendly service are as impressive as the meal and plating itself.
Fortunately, this endeavor included a photoshoot to properly portray just how tasty their entire menu is — every single dish on the menu was made. The best part: via the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Rotary Club, all of the food was donated to The Park Hotel in Plainfield, which distributes food to the homeless and others in need. Spice Bazaar was able to provide meals for 15 individuals.
Spice Bazaar has always loved being a part of the community and values the tremendous support during both good and challenging times. It warms their heart knowing that they were able to give back to the community who have always supported them.
