WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield Boosters Association will hold its annual dinner dance fundraiser the evening of Saturday, Feb. 24, at Shackamaxon Country Club in Scotch Plains. Proceeds will benefit the Westfield High School Athletic Program.

The Boosters raised and donated about $500,000 to WHS athletic programs over the past five years, according to their records. They association also awarded $45,000 in scholarships last May.

“Some of our recent projects include new golf bags, new main gym floor at the high school, refurbished varsity baseball field, new locker rooms at Kehler stadium and new weight room at the high school,” committee chair and past president Jeff Bryk  said.

The next project they’re hoping to enable is an upgrade to the boys soccer/baseball locker rooms at Edison.

For $75 per person, attendees will enjoy food, live music by the Brother John Brown Band, a silent auction and more.

Event sponsors include Ferrarro’s Restaurant and Top Line Appliances.
