Westfield Center, a Genesis Healthcare facility, located on Lamberts Mill Road in Westfield, received a generous donation of 10 dozen roses from the Rutgers University — Newark Men's and Women's Track and Field teams.
The program's staff, athletes, and parents donated the flowers to boost the staff's morale and to thank them for all of their hard work, dedication, compassion, and sacrifices during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Christopher Happel, the Admissions and Marketing Director at the facility is also an assistant coach for the program and has been updating the team on what the staff at the facility has been enduring during the pandemic. Members of the staff on all three shifts were given roses as tokens of appreciation for all of their efforts to keep the residents at the facility safe. You might not be able to see their faces, but underneath their masks they are smiling from ear to ear.
Big Thank Yous to the Rutgers University - Newark Men's and Women's Track and Field Programs and the Westfield Center Staff for everything you are doing during these tough times. Westfield Center has “rose” above COVID-19.
