Members of The Westfield Service League, along with several members' spouses, recently put on a fashion show for residents of Cranford Senior Housing.
Service League members modeled fashions from the Thrift Shop it operates at 114 Elmer Street in Westfield. After the show, residents were able to shop for the clothing and accessories modeled, along with other items brought to the senior housing facility.
"Residents were thrilled with the fashions and affordability of the many items," the Westfield Service League said.
A nonprofit organization, WSL also operates a Consignment Shop at the same location. Proceeds from the shops are distributed via grants to other nonprofits in Westfield and Union County.
WSL is in its 86th year and has awarded more than $2.8 million in grants over the decades. To learn more, visit thewestfieldserviceleague.org.
