WESTFIELD, NJ — Overnight road work to resurface West Broad Street from Lamberts Mill Road to South Avenue will begin on or about Tuesday, Oct. 6, the county has announced. This work is expected to take about four nights to complete, weather permitting, officials said.

The road will be closed overnight from about 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. as the work is being conducted, with a detour route in place, officials said.

Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work zone, officials said, and access to residences, including deliveries and other services, in the work zone will be allowed as much as possible.
