No One Can Make You Feel Guilty

We often think that others are responsible for making us feel guilty. This is not true.

Others may try to manipulate us by saying certain things to make us feel guilty and at times they are very effective in causing us self-doubt. However, the reason that manipulators are able to make us feel guilty is that a part of us agree with their message and the doubt already exists in ...

COVID-19: I Feel Unsafe About Returning to Work. Do I Have to?

If you are getting unemployment insurance, that means that you have indicated that you are presently able to return back to work. So, if you are being offered suitable work (e.g. same or similar title, pay, weekly hours, etc.) and you refuse, it is likely that you would subsequently be denied any further unemployment compensation benefits. The general principle here is that if their ...

May 20, 2020

In the not-so-distant future, our corona-closed world will gradually re-open, allowing New Jersians the freedom to shop out, to dine in and to basically do anything that’s not based in our living rooms.

To most the liberation may seem like the end of World War II and in many ways it is, but there are some catches to this re-opening; changes in protocols and attitudes that will make ...

Missing Jews

How many Jews are there in the world? 13 million? Perhaps 14 million, if you’re generous. How many Jews were there before World War II? Apparently the number was around the 19 million mark.
