WESTFIELD, NJ — The list of local businesses adopting environmentally sustainable practices under the town’s Green Medallion program is growing.

Business owners participating in the program organized by the Westfield Green Team have earned praise for taking a variety of measures toward more environmentally sustainable practices, including composting food waste, using paper or reusable bags and conducting energy audits.

Those businesses meeting the requirements of the program are given a “Green Medallion” to display prominently and are listed on the town’s website.
