WESTFIELD, NJ — Employment attorney Fred Shahrooz Scampato has been chosen for the fifth year in a row to receive the honor of Employment Litigation: Plaintiff by Super Lawyers Magazine and the April 2018 publication of New Jersey Monthly.
Each year, no more than five percent of New Jersey lawyers receive inclusion into this state's Super Lawyers Magazine. The selection for this respected list is made by the research team at Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, that rates outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
“This year I am celebrating my 20th year practicing law in Westfield,” Shahrooz Scampato said. “During that time, the focus of my practice has been to advise, advocate and litigate on behalf of employees who were victims of bullying, sexual harassment and all types of discrimination including prejudice against their race, age, disability and gender. For the past five years in a row, I have been named as a New Jersey Super Lawyer in the category of Employment Litigation: Plaintiff. This honor means a great deal to me, because the selection process involves an evaluation of 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. While I appreciate the honor, I do not hold myself to be better than any other attorney. The standard that I strive to meet is a personal one, centering on diligence, communication, competence and integrity.”
