Franklin Township: Missing 17-year-old Girl (LOCATED)

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - According to Franklin Township's Police Department Facebook page Briana Rice has been found.

The message reads as follows:

We wanted to say “Thank You” for all of your assistance. Briana Rice has been located safe and sound!

The Franklin Township Police Department is seeking the publics help in locating Briana Rice, 17, of Franklin Township. 

According to police, she left her home wearing a black t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and gray New Balance sneakers. Rice is described as a light-skinned black female, with black hair and black eyes, 5'2", approximately 130 pounds, according to officials. 

Rice last made contact with her guardian on Sept. 3 and has friends in the New Brunswick and Asbury Park areas, according to officials. Police say, she is known to frequent both cities and utilizes NJ Transit to travel between the areas.

Anyone with information about Briana's whereabouts is asked to contact Det. Mark Keller at 732-873-5533 ext. 3148 or the Franklin Township Communications Center at 732-873-2300.
