May 13, 2022WESTFIELD, NJ — An early morning fire tore through a home on Grant Avenue Friday, displacing five people, the fire chief said.
The blaze at 849 Grant Ave. erupted just before 5:43 a.m., Chief Michael Duelks said. Firefighters who arrived at 5:49 a.m. found thick smoke and fire showing from the second floor of the 2 ½ story residence, he told TAPinto Westfield.
