WESTFIELD, NJ — One woman was transported to the hospital following a crash involving at least three vehicles at the intersection of St. Marks and South Euclid avenues Wednesday morning, police said.
The woman reported neck pain, but the injury did not appear to be critical, acting Police Chief Chris Battiloro said. The crash happened at 8:49 a.m., Battiloro said.
One car apparently had driven onto the lawn of a home and the airbags of a Porche involved in the crash deployed, a witness on the scene said.
Firefighters responded to extricate someone from a vehicle, Battiloro said. Two SUVs were towed from the scene, he said.
The crash had South Euclid Avenue closed from Lenox to St. Marks Avenue. Authorities reopened the roadway by 10 a.m.
