WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield High School girls’ varsity swim team has advanced to the state sectional final after its Monday win against Ridge.

The Lady Blue Devils bested Ridge 117-53 at Monday’s semifinal tournament in Westfield, taking top places in the 200-medley relay, the 200 freestyle and the 100 freestyle among other events, the results show.

Lauren Lane, Elie Cestero, Abby McKinney and Erin McKinney finished the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:53.34.

Erin McAndrew finished first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:02.39.

Erin McKinney finished first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.550.

Lauren Lane finished the 100 freestyle with a time of 0:56.98.

Katerine Li, Lauren Lane, Marcelina Krowinska and Abby McKinney completed the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:44.50.

Julia McGann placed first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:05.99.

Abby Bebel placed first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:14.46.

Clara Yu, Sarah Kennedy, Julia McGann and Abby Bebel completed the 400 freestyle with a time of 3:56.68.

The Lady Blue Devils will face Bridgewater-Raritan High School at the Raritan Bay YMCA Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
