MONTCLAIR, NJ — The YMCA of Montclair will give back to the community with its annual 1891 Gala Fundraiser on Friday, October 26, 2018.
"The Y is one of those anchor organizations in the community," says YMCA of Montclair President and CEO Buddy Evans during an interview with TAPintoTV staff. "We promote philanthropy and volunteerism in the community, because we know that's what makes the community stronger."
This year's 1891 Gala will be honoring the McMullen Family Foundation, as well as Kate Stanton Paule and Leslie Wallace of the Montclair Public Schools Transition Program.
Proceeds from the event benefit the YMCA of Montclair.
"Through our fundraising, we provide more than $400,000 annually in financial assistance to nearly 1,000 deserving children, teens, families and seniors." —an excerpt from the YMCA of Montclair's website
