CLARK, NJ — Two people were transported to area hospitals Tuesday morning after a multi-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway, according to authorities.

The Clark Fire Department was on the scene just before 10 a.m. According to Fire Chief Frank Cerasa, the crash involving three cars was on the northbound side of the Garden State Parkway just prior to the Clark exit.

The Clark Fire Department had to remove doors from two of the vehicles to get passengers out, he said. Clark and Cranford Emergency squads, medics and one Union County ambulance were on the scene attending to accident victims, Cerasa said.
