WESTFIELD, NJ — The area is under a wind advisory from noon until 7 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service announced.
Wind is expected to blow at 20 to 30 miles per how, with gusts of up to 50 miles per hour, the service said.
“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the weather service warned. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.”
It advised using extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle, and securing outdoor objects.
