Car Break-Ins Reported at Yorktown Club Fit

JEFFERSON VALLEY, N.Y. - Several vehicles were broken into in the parking lot of Club Fit on Monday, Jan. 11, according to the Yorktown Police Department.

Between 6:10 and 8 p.m., surveillance video reportedly captured two suspects in a silver SUV, possibly a Saturn Vue, breaking into several vehicles. The passenger of the SUV was seen exiting the vehicle and punching through driver- and passenger-side windows to remove purses or bags. One of the suspects was heavy-set and wearing a reflecting hoodie, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police department at 914-962-4141. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to the department's Facebook page by clicking the "More" tab and clicking "Submit Anonymous tip to YPD."
