YORKTOWN, N.Y. - A Carmel man was arrested last week after he allegedly attempted to burglarize a Saw Mill River Road residence, according to the Yorktown Police Department.
While responding to a call reporting an attempted break-in around 3 p.m. Thursday, March 31, police allege that Ryan McCullough, 21, was seen fleeing the scene after he attempted to pry open the rear door of the residence, police said. McCullough was eventually located near 245 Underhill Ave.
McCullough was charged with second-degree attempted burglary, a class D felony. He was remanded to Westchester County Jail without bail and is scheduled to answer the charge in Yorktown Court.
