YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Anthony Medina, scheduled to join the cast of “Hamilton” on Broadway in March, stopped by his former high school and middle school on Thursday, spending several hours answering questions from students.
Medina, who begins rehearsals on Monday, will play the roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton. Medina first visited Walter Panas High School, where, in 2007, he was named “Most Likely to be Famous” by his graduating class. Students from the school’s theater group, the Panas Players, asked Medina questions about his career and theater in general.
He then traveled to Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School, where he met with another group of young actors, as well as students from Lakeland High School.
