YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Voters in the Yorktown Central School District overwhelmingly passed the 2017-18 budget and the creation of a capital reserve fund, according to figures released by the district.
The $98.2 million budget passed 568 to 125. The creation of the capital reserve fund passed 585 to 107.
Incumbent Board of Education trustees Anthony D’Alessandro and Michael Magnani were also re-elected. They ran uncontested.
D’Alessandro received 592 votes and Magnani received 576 votes. There were 11 write-in votes.
