SHRUB OAK, N.Y. - New York State Parks Police have arrested a 32-year-old man accused of vandalizing and stealing the entrance sign to Donald J. Trump State Park in Yorktown.
Ronald Atzmon of Carmel is charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and petty larceny, a misdemeanor, according to Randy Simons, public information officer for New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation.
Parks police installed surveillance cameras near the entrance sign, which helped identify Atzmon as a suspect, Simons said. The entrance sign has already been replaced.
