YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Another egg-ceptional Easter Egg hunt was held Saturday, April 13, at Downing Park. The hunt is co-sponsored annually by the Yorktown Parks and Recreation Department and the Yorktown Lions Club.
Thousands of plastic Easter Eggs coating the park were scooped up in a matter of seconds. Every child collecting an egg received a prize, while several lucky children found “grand prize” eggs, which netted them a basket full of goodies.
