YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Hundreds came out Saturday to watch as brightly designed holiday-themed floats made their way through Yorktown for the town’s sixth annual Holiday Electric Lights Parade. The parade started at Front Street and ended at Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Field, where the town’s Christmas tree was lighted.

Awards were handed out in several categories:

  • Twinkle Award (Dazzling Lights): Eddie's Yard
  • Twinkle Award Honorable Mention: Alpine Construction
  • Judge's Choice Award (Imagination): Yorktown Community Dog Park
  • Judge's Choice Honorable Mention: Yorktown Auto Body
  • Theme Award (Showmanship): Pack 38
  • Theme Award Honorable Mention: Mohegan Lake Volunteer Fire Department
  • Youth Award: YAC Cheer
  • Youth Award Honorable Mention: 4H Hooves, Beaks and Bills
  • Randy Zapakin Community Service Award: Yorktown Leos
