SHRUB OAK, N.Y. – Police are enlisting the public’s help in locating vandals who caused extensive damage to the town-owned swimming pool on Sunnyside Street in Shrub Oak.
A police source told Yorktown News that the vandalism occurred sometime after 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5. Though this source would not go into specific details about the vandalism, they said the cost of the damage makes it a felony crime. Trash receptacles near the pool were also set on fire.
