YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Supervisor Matt Slater is reminding residents that the town's active parks are closed to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

Active parks are playgrounds, basketball courts and sports fields. The town's passive parks and trails (a full list is here) remain open. FDR park is also open, but only for passive uses.

Westchester County has also closed all its playgrounds.

Visit the town's Facebook page for daily updates about COVID-19 from Slater and other town officials. Residents can also watch live on Optimum Channel 20, Verizon FiOS Channel 33 or streaming live on the town's website.
