YORKTOWN, N.Y. - A 25-year-old Sleepy Hollow man is facing several felony drug charges for allegedly selling heroin in Yorktown.
According to the Yorktown Police Department, Edwin Rodriguez sold heroin to “undercover operatives” working with police during a five-month investigation.
When Rodriguez was arrested on Jan. 24, he was allegedly in possession of 80 bags of heroin, which are typically sold for $10 to $20, police said.
He was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a B felony; two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a B felony; one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a C felony; and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, an A misdemeanor.
Rodriguez was released on $5,000 bail. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on Feb. 22.
