LINCOLNDALE, N.Y. — Somers' girls lacrosse team defeated visiting Lakeland/Panas 14-9 on Thursday in a league contest as the Tuskers improved to 5-1.

Livy Rosenzweig and Teagan Lucchese paced Somers with three goals and an assist apiece. Lauren Colavito added two goals, while Katie Campbell and Hannah Tiso added a goal and an assist each. Jess Monaco made 11 saves in net for Somers, which led 10-5 at halftime.

Emily Kness (1A) and Carlyn Mucci each netted three goals for the Rebels, which dropped to 5-3. 

Somers returns to the field when it hosts Mahopac at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lakeland/Panas hosts Hendrick Hudson at 5 p.m. on Saturday at Lakeland High School.
