YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Thousands came out to Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Field on Sunday night to sing along with Tramps Like Us, a Bruce Springsteen tribute brand.

The festive atmosphere extended past sundown, as lead singer Mark Salore belted out Springsteen concert staples such as “Because the Night,” “Hungry Heart” and “Born to Run.” Salore was backed by his own version of the E Street Band, which included Yorktown resident John Winton on the saxophone.

The performance by Tramps Like Us was the final Sunday evening concert of the summer, though there is still some fun to be had. The 23rd annual Yorktown Lions Club Summer Concert Series will wrap up for good on Saturday (Aug. 19) with the first-ever all-day music festival at the Veterans Road field.
