YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Two Yonkers women are facing felony grand larceny charges after, police say, they stole $2,112 in merchandise from Ulta Beauty in the Jefferson Valley Mall.
The alleged theft occurred around 1:19 p.m. Sunday, March 5. An investigation by the Yorktown Police Department determined that Destiny Hudson, 28, and Lawren Jackson, 26, acted together in stealing the merchandise, according to police.
They were arrested yesterday at the Croton Police Department and transported to Yorktown police headquarters. They were arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, an E felony.
Hudson's bail was set at $1,500 cash ($2,500 bond) and Jackson's was set at $15,000 cash ($25,000 bond). Both were unable to post bail and were turned over to the Westchester County Department of Corrections. They are due back in court on Tuesday, April 11.
