YORKTOWN, N.Y. – The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce held its scholarship dinner benefiting the college education of students from Yorktown on Monday, July 16, at Little Sorrento Restaurant.

“We believe strongly that this program, supporting the education of young people from our community, is foremost among the initiatives conducted annually by the chamber,” the organization said. “And, this worthy effort could not be possible without the support of our members and sponsors who believe as we do that the vitality of our community and our very future depends on young people who seek to gain knowledge.”

The chamber thanked is scholarship program co-chairs and sponsors, Marc and Sheryl Saidel, of Saidel and Saidel, PC; Gina and Paul Dipaterio of Little Sorrento Restaurant; and Doug Petri.
