YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Yorktown resident David Rocco, a former board member for Friends of Walkway over the Hudson, was recently interviewed by PBS for its new documentary, “Treasures of New York: Rails-to-Trails.”
The documentary, which explores innovative rail trails (defunct railways converted into trails) across New York State, premiered Thursday, May 18, on WLIW21, and Sunday, May 21 on THIRTEEN. It can also be streamed online at wliw.org/treasures.
The Walkway over the Hudson is a bridge spanning the Hudson River between Poughkeepsie and Highland. Rocco has made a career out of photographing prominent spots along the Hudson River. Some of his photos were included in the documentary.
