SHRUB OAK, N.Y. - Two Yorktown teens are facing felony criminal mischief charges after they allegedly drove their trucks onto the lawn of Lakeland High School, causing an estimated $2,000 in damage.

Around 10:50 p.m Saturday (July 22), six days after receiving a report that two vehicles were driving on the lawn of Lakeland High School, Sgt. Mark Rapisarda spotted a pick-up truck driving on East Main Street that matched the description of the one of the vehicles involved.

Following a traffic stop, police arrested James T. Houlahan, 17. Officers then contacted Matthew H. Tuite, 18, who voluntarily surrendered himself at police headquarters.

Both teens were charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a D felony. They are due in Yorktown Justice Court tomorrow.
