The Hart Crushers represented the John C. Hart Memorial Library in the fourth annual Westchester Library System Battle of the Books on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Hendrick Hudson High School.

This fast-paced trivia competition, using buzzer systems and with a heavy emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, is for avid readers entering Grades 4 to 10. Public libraries that are members of the Westchester Library System sponsored teams in the competition. There were two separate competitions on the same day: a Children’s Division (Grades 4 to 6), and a Teen Division (Grades 6 to 10).
